Ziegler Modern Rug carpet from Pakistan.
This carpet is knotted in Pakistan using traditional techniques from Arak in Persia. The British company Ziegler . in England started manufacturing these carpets for the European market in the 1870's. The patterns are often copied from Persian carpets. The wool is of high quality and the colour comes from natural vegetable dyes.

Durable Wool 
Wool is a natural textile fibre and one of the most sought after materials for rug making. Wool rugs are highly durable and perfectly capable of resisting wear and tear of every day use. Wool has a naturally dirt-repelling effect and is easy to keep clean. It is also flame resistant and characteristically retains it’s shape so that the pile of the rug always rises.

Beautiful quality and lovely colours
The website was easy to use. I needed a specific small size for where the rug has to go in my bedroom and was spoilt for choice. The carpet that I finally chose was exactly what I wanted and the quality and finish is absolutely gorgeous. It looks even better in real life and I have a certificate of authentication for it.
