Yalameh Rug carpet from Persia / Iran.
This carpet is knotted by the nomadic Yalameh-tribe that wanders in the Fars province in southern Persia. The carpet is known for its distinctive richness in the pattern and strong deep colours. Sometimes in the pattern, diamond shaped medallions occur in a straight line. The carpet is considered to be of very high quality.

Wool has a naturally dirt-repelling effect and is easy to keep clean. It is also flame resistant and characteristically retains it’s shape so that the pile of the rug always rises.

Beautiful quality and lovely colours
The website was easy to use. I needed a specific small size for where the rug has to go in my bedroom and was spoilt for choice. The carpet that I finally chose was exactly what I wanted and the quality and finish is absolutely gorgeous. It looks even better in real life and I have a certificate of authentication for it.
