Snowball Rug - Off white carpet from India.
These carpets are made in Bhadohi, India using good quality wool which makes them soft and comfortable to walk on. A different kind of loom is used in the production process which makes the work faster than traditional carpet knotting and results in a lower price. However, the newer method does not allow for advanced patterns so they are only available in single colours or simple geometric patterns. The value-for-money carpets are ideal for both a well-designed office or in a home with modern decor.
You may notice some shedding of fibres from your new rug. This is a common result of the manufacturing process, where small excess fibres are released. With proper care, the shedding will gradually decrease over time. To manage any loose fibres, simply use a soft brush to remove them.

Wool is a natural textile fibre and one of the most sought after materials for rug making. Wool rugs are highly durable and perfectly capable of resisting wear and tear of every day use. Wool has a naturally dirt-repelling effect and is easy to keep clean. It is also flame resistant and characteristically retains it’s shape so that the pile of the rug always rises.

The website was easy to use. I needed a specific small size for where the rug has to go in my bedroom and was spoilt for choice.
