Sarouk Rug carpet from Persia / Iran.
This carpet is knotted in a large area surrounding the village of Sarough in the western parts of central Persia. The carpet, often red or blue, is manufactured with a number of different patterns, but often have a centrally placed medallion and a distinct defined border. The wool used is of high quality and treated to luster and the carpet is thick and durable.

Durable Wool

Wool has a naturally dirt-repelling effect and is easy to keep clean. It is also flame resistant and characteristically retains it’s shape so that the pile of the rug always rises.

Gorgeous rug
I ordered a rug from rug vista about a year ago for my living room. It arrived promptly, was well packaged and I was kept informed. I’m writing because I think it’s useful to get feedback about a product further down the line- how it wears etc. Mine looks like new despite its constant use, children and the dog! I was also looking again to order some rugs for friends, two of whom liked my rug so much, they want me to forward the details, which I’ve done. I was really shocked to see that someone had had a negative experience with Rugvista. I have no axe to grind or any connection with the company other than being a highly satisfied customer. I would buy from them again for certain.
