Nain 9La Sherkat Farsh Rug carpet from Persia / Iran.
This carpet is knotted in workshops in the city of Nain in central Persia, near Isfahan. The carpet is generally very light with a cream-coloured or deep-blue bottom colour and a large medallion in the centre. The high knot density and high class material makes these carpets of very high quality. They are manufactured in most sizes and the carpet is among the most beautiful in the world and very popular among collectors.

The foundation "Sherkat Farsh" was founded about 70 years ago. The purpose with the foundation was to uphold the traditions of the Persian carpet culture and to maintain the quality in the country's carpet production.

Beautiful quality and lovely colours
The website was easy to use. I needed a specific small size for where the rug has to go in my bedroom and was spoilt for choice. The carpet that I finally chose was exactly what I wanted and the quality and finish is absolutely gorgeous. It looks even better in real life and I have a certificate of authentication for it.
