Kazak Ariana Rug carpet from Afghanistan.
Kazak rugs have a long history and were earlier regarded as some of the finest rugs in the world. They were used as wall decorations, in front of thrones and as floor coverings for the upper class. During the 1980’s and 1990’s Kazak rugs once again became widely popular. Afghan refugees in Pakistan developed new designs and used new colors with the old traditional Caucasion motifs. The result has been astounding vivid designs and colors resulting in modern rugs with a touch of classic. Our Kazak Ariana are made with handspun yarn and the pile is neat and smooth.

Durable Wool 
Wool is a natural textile fibre and one of the most sought after materials for rug making. Wool rugs are highly durable and perfectly capable of resisting wear and tear of every day use. Wool has a naturally dirt-repelling effect and is easy to keep clean. It is also flame resistant and characteristically retains it’s shape so that the pile of the rug always rises.

Beautiful quality and lovely colours
The website was easy to use. I needed a specific small size for where the rug has to go in my bedroom and was spoilt for choice. The carpet that I finally chose was exactly what I wanted and the quality and finish is absolutely gorgeous. It looks even better in real life and I have a certificate of authentication for it.
