The Hamadan carpet is knotted in 500-600 villages in an area surrounding the city of Hamadan in northwestern Persia. Every village or smaller group of villages, has its own obvious distinctive character. The carpet is generally very colourful and made with good quality wool. To sum up, this carpet is worth its price and are good utility carpets.

Beautiful quality and lovely colours
The website was easy to use. I needed a specific small size for where the rug has to go in my bedroom and was spoilt for choice. The carpet that I finally chose was exactly what I wanted and the quality and finish is absolutely gorgeous. It looks even better in real life and I have a certificate of authentication for it.
