Jute rugs are very durable with natural beauty, as they are handwoven using yarn prepared from the fibre-rich stems of the jute plant. The natural look of these rugs is also reflected in the colours of the yarn, which may vary slightly. Keep your rug fresh and clean for a long time by regularly vacuuming and rotating to avoid sun bleaching. Should an accident occur, remove any stains with a slightly damp cloth.
Jute is a natural material that is sensitive to UV light and especially when they are coloured. This means that if the carpets are placed in direct sunlight, the colours will fade very quickly.
The carpets are sensitive to moisture, therefore they should only be used indoors or outdoors under a roof.

Jute is a long, soft, shiny plant fiber that can be spun into coarse, strong threads. Jute rugs are sensitive to moisture, very durable and have a higher sound-insulating effect than synthetic carpets. Typical for jute rugs is that they are organic and can often be recycled as they are manufactured from a natural material.

For a while now I've been searching for a pure wool rug which matched my criteria, ie had a particular unusual design and colours. Lovely product and an easy company to deal with. The rug we ordered was delivered quickly and is good quality.
