Bidjar Takab / Bukan Rug carpet from Persia / Iran.
This carpet is of very high-class and are sometimes referred to as "the iron-carpet of Persia" due to their extreme length of life and durability. The carpet is thick, very tight and is heavy with excellent wool quality. The carpet is knotted with a double-knot and the pattern makes them very easy to place.
Takab refers to a finer Bidjar and the city of manufacture.

Durable Wool 
Wool is a natural textile fibre and one of the most sought after materials for rug making. Wool rugs are highly durable and perfectly capable of resisting wear and tear of every day use. Wool has a naturally dirt-repelling effect and is easy to keep clean. It is also flame resistant and characteristically retains it’s shape so that the pile of the rug always rises.

Beautiful quality and lovely colours
The website was easy to use. I needed a specific small size for where the rug has to go in my bedroom and was spoilt for choice. The carpet that I finally chose was exactly what I wanted and the quality and finish is absolutely gorgeous. It looks even better in real life and I have a certificate of authentication for it.
