Boucherouite rugs, pronounced boo-shay-reet, are another amazing rug creation coming from Morocco. At first used by the Berbers themselves as a modest domestic rug in their homes, they have now found immense popularity as a crazy colorful Moroccan rug. Made of various recycled pre-used clothing or textile scraps such as cotton, wool, nylon or synthetic fibers. These rugs make sure the room doesn't take itself too seriously and they offer a slice of cozy texture to your floor.
Wool / Cotton 
Wool is a natural textile fibre and one of the most sought after materials for rug making. Wool rugs are highly durable and perfectly capable of resisting wear and tear of every day use. Wool has a naturally dirt-repelling effect and is easy to keep clean. It is also flame resistant and characteristically retains it’s shape so that the pile of the rug always rises.
Cotton is a natural textile fibre and a suitable alternative to people with allergies. It is a strong yet soft material that works well in most environments including bathrooms and kitchens.

Beautiful quality and lovely colours
The website was easy to use. I needed a specific small size for where the rug has to go in my bedroom and was spoilt for choice. The carpet that I finally chose was exactly what I wanted and the quality and finish is absolutely gorgeous. It looks even better in real life and I have a certificate of authentication for it.
